Client Requirements
The Client, Housing and Care 21, in conjunction with the developer, Tolent Construction, wanted to construct a new care facility in Sunderland.
The scheme has 85 residential units which are a combination of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. It also comprised a number of semi detached bungalows.
The scheme is low energy using high efficiency gas fired boiler plant in conjunction with underfloor heating.
Scope of Services
We were appointed by the mechanical services design and build contractor to undertake the detailed design of the mechanical services.
Which included the following systems:-

- Heating Installation
- Domestic Services
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Building Management System
